Walnut Blasting and Engine Carbon Cleaning
In many modern petrol engines, fuel is directly injected into the engines cylinder as it is a more efficient way to burn fuel. Walnut Blasting is a safe way to clean your engines internals from Carbon Build up
The problem with Direct Injection is that the injected fuel does not get the chance to wash the valves which in turn leads to carbon build-up. These carbon deposits will cause poor idling, poor performance, reduced economy and an increase in emissions.
At The Carbon Centre we can eliminate these issues by using a technique called walnut blasting. This service is a must for anyone wanting to increase their vehicle's performance via a remap or similar tuning processes. The intake manifold is carefully removed and finely ground walnut shells are forced into the valve chamber under high pressure, using our main dealer specification machine.
